2021 Hockey Season Recap

Isabelle Goulet, Sports Journalist

The Woodhaven High School Varsity Ice Hockey team recently ended their season with a 4-12 record. This year the Hockey season was postponed due to the pandemic along with all the other winter sports. The first game Woodhaven hosted against Detroit Country Day on February 10th but sadly was a loss for the Warriors with an ending score of 1-5.  During the course of the hockey season, they had some letdowns due to kids being quarantined throughout the season. Last week on March 16th, the Woodhaven Hockey team traveled to Saline High School to compete in the MHSAA Ice Hockey Regionals but were short of some players. The game ended with a score of 1-2 leaving the Woodhaven Warriors to a loss against the Saline Hornets. This loss unfortunately ended their season.
