Woodhaven High School’s Spring Musical

Nathan Kriebel and Rebekah Colón

The Woodhaven Theatre Company is currently working on their spring musical, Godspell. Godspell is a musical conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. This show is about the rise and fall of Jesus Christ. Although this show follows the teachings and words of the Bible it is portrayed through fun and catchy rock & roll.

The WTC has been working extremely hard for the past month and a half. They have been having rehearsals every day of the week for three hours after school. It has indeed been tough for them as they have had to deal with people getting quarantined but so far it looks like it will be an amazing show. Shows will take place on May 14th, 15th, and 16th at 7 pm in the Woodhaven Highschool Auditorium. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated! Masks are required and there is limited seating you can make a reservation using the code on the poster. I highly recommend that everyone come and see the show!
