This year’s powderpuff was an absolute brawl. The sophomores started off with a close win over the freshman, scoring 8-6. In the next game, the Juniors were expected to make easy work of the sophs, but the Henegar twins led the sophomores to victory, toppling the Juniors 14-0. The sophomores entered Game 3 feeling confident and ready to compete. Their opponent was more daunting than the last: the seniors. There was doubt whether sophomores could take home another clean victory, but that answer was soon revealed in an intense overtime game where the sophomores defeated the seniors 8-14, making the sophomores the new PowderPuff champs.
