JV Warriors blast through league

Trey Bosley, Sports Reporter

The WHS JV Volleyball team has started the season smoking hot going 7-0 through the first seven games.

Jalynn Wilmot attributes the team’s success to teamwork. “We work as a team, and we have great energy.” One might think team bonds are weaker as a result of the pandemic turbulence, but Wilmot says that it has actually made them closer as a team, and the winning really helps with their morale. The Warriors look to continue their hot streak as they bring their season to a close. Wilmot says the team will continue to play hard, play as a team, and win games. For all the hype surrounding the Woodhaven volleyball program, the JV girls have shown that they’re the real deal.
