The girls attacked Allen Park and Wyandotte on the 20th, conquering AP 103-83, but taking a loss against Wyandotte 134-52.

In diving, Kendall Havelock placed 3rd and scored 164, while her dive partner Jaya Meeks took 4th with 161.60 points.

Paige Adamisin, Alyssa O’Herron, Kelly Morgan, Isabelle Goulet scored 4th place in the 200 yard medley relay as a team.

Annaliese Clinton placed 5th in the 100 yard freestyle. Clinton said “It was cool, had the advantage over Allen Park since half the team was sick, but still had to push hard cause Allen Park was still swimming strong.”

Gabriella Hoffee added, “I’m happy that we won since the team hasn’t achieved 3rd place in the league for a couple years now, and we do much better in tri-meets than we do in invitationals. We are very supportive of each other and do the best we can as a team.”

In order to advance to and win the Downriver League swim and dive finals, the team must work harder in practice and focus on form and technique, but they are confident they can do it.
