Girls swim outpaces Edsel Ford for the win

Woodhaven Girls Swim Team finished their meet against Edsel Ford on October 19th, with an outstanding win with 8 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze and a score of 90. The girls meet against Trenton on October 25th, where they took a loss with scores of 98 and 85. 

Senior Natalia Perez placed 3rd in an outstanding 100 Y Fly with a time of 1:36.15.  Along with Perez, Senior Brooklyn Horuczi placed 2nd in the 50 Y Free with an amazing time of 30.58. Senior Eva Filippi placed 1st in the 200 Y IM with a time of 2:48.34. The last senior who competed, Lilly Collins placed 3rd in the 100 Y Free with a time of 1:13.15.

Junior Analeise Clinton placed 1st in the 500 Y Free with an amazing time of 6:31.94. Along with Clinton, Junior Ashley Lambrix placed 3rd in the 200 Y Free with a time of 2:35.19.

Sophomore Morgan Kelly placed 2nd in the 100 Y Free with a time of 1:05.50 and placed 1st in the 200 Y Free with a great time of 2:26.45. Along with Kelly, Sophomore Zoe Barringer placed 1st in the 100 Y Fly with a fabulous time of 1:19.90. Along with Kelly and Barringer, Sophomore Alyssa O’Herron placed 1st in the 50 Y Free with a time of 29.84. The last Sophomore who competed, Alexa Davis placed 2nd in the 200 Y Free with a time of 2:26.70.

Freshman Noelle Cameon placed 2nd in the 100 Y Fly with a time of 1:32.49. Along with Cameon, Freshman Joslyn Ventura placed 3rd in the 50 Y Free with a time of 31.39 and also placed 4th in the 500 Y Free with a time of 6:50.57. Freshman Isabella Sarakody placed 2nd in the 500 Y Free with a time of 6:44.44.
