Woodhaven Choir held their first fall concert of the 2022-2023 school year. Ms. Rise directed and helped prepare the students. There are different choir groups like Warrior Chorus, Treble Troubles, Chamber Ensemble, and Bella Voce.

These groups performed many different songs including “A Million Dreams,” “Build Me Up Buttercup,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Come to Me My Love,” “Hanging Tree” “Light in the Hallway” “Stitches,” “I Will Survive/Survivor” “Hymn of Acxiom” “I put a Spell on You.”

Senior Christina Reeder, a member of Bella Voce, had a solo in “I Will Survive/Survivor.” She sees her solos as big accomplishments and practices singing so she’s able to get it right. “I want my solos to be memorable,” Reeder says.

Reeder was among several soloists for the evening. Joining her in the spotlight were Emma Usher, Delaney Ryan, Quinn Heaney, Antonio Vega, Kaya Shell, Emily Natter, Idyll Fay Villarin, Grace Usher, Christina Reeder, and Oria Messinger, Samantha Syverson, Sophia Valchine, and Gwen Ryan.
