With tons of new technology, the music industry is flourishing like never before, with tons of new artists emerging, all with unique styles. Among all these new rising stars, there is one that comes to mind, Lil Vyrin from the music group Fant0m Studios. Despite being 17 years old, he has already made a name for himself with his hit single “Never Had” that reached charts on apple music and Spotify. Lil Vyrin is a student at Woodhaven High School and is the first artist from there to accomplish something so huge at such a young age.

What made you start music?

“It seemed easy, and I’ve always been interested in music and loved it, so why not? And that’s when me and my brother started Fant0m Studios.”

Who are some artists that you look up to?

“I always looked up to artists like Young Thug, Nav, D Block Europe, and lil baby. I admired these guys because Nav broke the stereotypical race barriers to become one of Canada’s most prominent artists. D Block Europe created a whole new style that made the music more unique, and he also is Muslim, just like me, so he’s doing something that you wouldn’t expect, which inspired me to chase my dreams of making music.”

How’d you get your flow?

“I tried to make music like some of my favorite artists, but it didn’t fit me, so I tried several other flows until I found one that made me stand out and that the fans liked.”

How would you describe yourself?

“I am very adaptive. I adapt to what’s happening in the industry, and I’m constantly critiquing and practicing my craft and continuing to learn as I go.”

How does it feel to have hit the charts at such a young age?

“It felt amazing. I was so happy when it happened, but I thank god for having even been blessed with the opportunity to be on something so crucial in the music industry.”

Where are you from, and how does that influence your music?

“I mostly grew up in Michigan and didn’t grow up with a lot, so it instilled that hustle in me which gave me the push to give music everything I got to reach my dreams.”

How did you get your stage name?

“I was sitting around with my brother, and we were just joking around, and then the names Lil Vyrin and Lil Vyzin popped into our heads. So we thought they were cool so and went with them.”

What are your goals for your music career?

“My goal is to make it to the top, get our names known worldwide, and be in the position to live the life I’ve always dreamed of and be able to do whatever for my family, but most of all, I want to have set a standard in the music industry so that people could look up to me and my brother in the industry.”

What is the hardest thing about being a rapper?

“It would help if you had a lot of dedication, and it’s a slow process to find your flow and get everything sounding decent. You must be patient and willing to try new things until everything clicks right and you make a hit.”

What’s the story behind your most famous song?

“People always think we were born in a silver-spoon household, but that’s not true. In this song, we talked about the struggles we had to go through and the life we left behind us to be where we are now.”

Lil Vyrin also advised, “One thing to make it in this industry is to know your promotion, find the right audience, and then release it and stick with it.” He also says to be on the lookout for his new song to drop called Melbourne. He also says fans will like this one better than any previous ones.
