2023 Homecoming King Xavier Vazquez is a talented athlete with a promising future ahead of him. Vazquez wants to go to college for veterinary medicine after graduating. Vazquez is a sideline and competitive cheerleader, and he is involved in National Honor society. His favorite classes are art and broadcasting. Vazquez ran for court to get involved and says he was elated to make court. Vazquez enjoys the bonds he’s created at WHS and the good memories like football games and cheering with his team. Vazquez finally states “I want to acknowledge my friends, coach, and mostly my family and thank my teammates for always being there for me. If Vazquez were to offer one piece of advice to his fellow students, it is that “It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
