Riding trails can be a pure adrenaline boost or a calm ride through the woods. Either way, you choose there’s a trailhead somewhere for you. 

 

Bundy Hill Offroad in Jerome, Michigan 

Bundy Hill ORV park is made up of 300 acres of wooded trails, mud pits, hill climbs, and even a drag racing strip. Bundy hills trails have many different difficulties making the park perfect for new and experienced riders. This ORV park also has a campsite on the park. Bundy does have an option for food at the Bundy Hill K & C Diner. The park does have an entrance fee of $20 per rider.

 

 

St. Helen Motorsport Area in St. Helen, Michigan

These trails span 50 miles and have 6 obstacle courses and multiple hill climbs. St. Helen is open year-round for snowmobile riders as well as being open year-round it has many options for lodging. There are also close boat rentals nearby for fishing or just a day on the water. St. Helens trails are free to all riders with a valid ORV sticker.

 

Ambrose Lake State Forest Campground in West Branch, Michigan

The trails at Ambrose Lake stretch for 9 miles but the area also includes boating and fishing, and the trails connect to a cross-country cycle trail. They offer other activities such as excellent fishing and paddling, Ambrose lake is also a great view with beautiful fall colors and an overview of the lake. There is no ride fee, but there is a $20 camping fee.

 

Ogemaw Sports and Trail Center in Rose, Michigan

Ogemaw is a family-run motocross campground. There are multiple tracks for advanced and beginning riders. Ogemaw is also equipped with wooded trails for ATVs. This trail center also offers ebike rentals. There is a day fee to ride of $30.  Ogemaw is close to the Rifle River recreation area for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.  

 

Silver Lake State Park in Holly, Michigan

Silver Lake has 2000 acres of sand dunes and a 450-acre ORV scramble area. This park would be a great spot to experience sand dunes on an ATV. Silver Lake does have an entrance fee to access the dunes . Silver Lake also has a large beach area for swimming. Keep in mind that sand dunes are changing terrain throughout the day so that small jump you hit in the morning could be a straight drop by lunch time.

 

Tin Cup Spring OHV trails in Chase, Michigan

 There are two main trails that are 18 miles long; the trails mostly consist of soft-packed dirt through a wooded area. There are also close campgrounds for overnight stays. There is no ride fee at this park, but you are required to have a valid ORV sticker visible on your machine. The main trail has trails that split off specifically made for bikes.

 

Cedar Creek trail in White Lake, Michigan

 Cedar Creeks trails stretch for 24 miles with mostly packed level dirt making these trails great for newer riders. The trails are open year-round and have no ride or parking fee. Cedar Creek has a restaurant near trails called the Cedar Tavern and Grill to stop at after riding. These trails also allow hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. These trails do have a ride fee of $8 per vehicle.

 

Baraga State Park in Baraga, Michigan 

located in Watton Mi Baraga State Park has 28 miles of trails; the trails are mostly made up of ATVS, UTVs, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. This park does not accept machines wider than 50 inches and does have a ride fee for each rider with the price being $16.25. Baraga State Park also has bike rentals inside of the park.
