Ms. Rize and her choir students are ready to excite the audience with their captivating Disney performances on October 15 at 7 PM. They have been preparing for this showcase ever since this school year started and families are eager to see what they have been working on.
This will be the first choir concert featuring the new ensemble, ‘Elora’. Elora is an intermediate choir full of students who are determined to work together to create beautiful music. Although it is a new choir, the students have an amazing dynamic. Elora sings some more advanced pieces and they are looking forward to the first concert of the year. Chelsea Rize says, “Elora has been doing great, All of these ensembles are the best-sounding choirs we have ever had at Woodhaven High. Elora has exceeded my expectations with how determined they are.”
All of the Woodhaven Choirs are singing a Disney song and a choral song. The song choices make choir concerts have an enchanting feel to them, giving their audience an astounding first performance of the year. Chelsea Rize said her reason for picking these songs is, “These specific songs showed me exactly what my choirs are able to accomplish, I picked more challenging songs for each of my choirs so that I could test their skill level.” Each choir class is determined to show off their capability to perform harder pieces.
All Woodhaven choirs are working hard in these last few days before the concert to perfect their performance. This is going to be one of the most captivating performances in Woodhaven choirs’ history.
