In August, a 6-year-old boy was reported missing from his home in Drogheda, County Louth. No police officer or investigation team has found him yet, and everyone is still pretty scared about where this investigation might go. The parents are very much suffering still from this devastating case. As a parent, having your child disappear would have to be a terrible nightmare.
Fast forward a couple of months to now, in October, the first suspect was arrested according to the investigators. This unknown man is found to be guilty. On Thursday morning, police arrested a man who is known to be connected or suspicious with the murder of this poor child. They have also arrested a woman, who is in her early 20s as a suspect in the murder of Kyran earlier.
She has been arrested and released because she does not have any clue or connections to being involved in this murder. She did engage with the detectives to be seen that she helped with questions to get closer to solving the case.
This unknown lady leads to the second suspect, who was arrested on Thursday morning. Police are treating this investigation seriously and charging it as if the child were disappeared or dead already. The police and the investigators are also saying that the child might have died slightly two years ago.
Kyran was a student who went to a national primary school in Ireland in 2022. He attended a different school further after that one. The child lives just with his mother and in the school report, it was not 100% confirmed.
