Malik Hussein is a senior on the Woodhaven Lacrosse team. Malik plays defense and with the help of Conner Kubrak as the goalie and Margil Jasso as the other defensive player scoring on them can be a hard challenge.
Malik has played every season the Warriors have had a Lacrosse team, but the first season was his first time holding a stick. The improvement from his first year to now is almost unrecognizable. Last season, he had over five stops and two or three turnovers a game versus his one or two stops a game his first season.
This new season, he is hoping to add to that with training all winter to get stronger, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to show.
