With xAI being developed into X, there is an AI chatbot that people can either pay for unlimited questions, or the non-paying users get 10 questions every 2 hours. This chatbot is called Grok. One of the main reasons Elon is moving towards AI for his app X is because he has “been working to establish himself as a leader in the AI space, a big focus for both the Trump administration and the tech industry.” This big push on making a very popular app, X, an AI-owned app, will allow him to grow his strength and popularity in the AI industry. The benefits could be unimaginable if this works out for him, but if this is a bust, X will decline in users, causing him to lose a lot of money that he spent trying to build this app up.
Musk is the richest person in America as of now, and if this app blows up how he imagines it will after developing the xAI into the app, his net worth will only grow. Musk has been pushing for AI development for a while, as he made Tesla an electric car company that has AI developed into it to be a self-driving car. Musk has goals to make the future a more technological space around the whole world because he understands the strengths and benefits AI brings to the world.
