What is the Senior Walk? The Senior Walk is the last walk around the district for graduating seniors. The seniors put on their graduation attire and go around to the middle school, elementary school, and high school. Students also use this to see old teachers and show off their awards and accolades with the ropes and items they get. Parents join the celebration, as this is an exciting day for all.
The day started off with the seniors in the auditorium. During this ceremony, various departments and clubs in the school recognized students who were outstanding in that specific subject. From there, the seniors took a lap around Woodhaven High School and greeted the underclassmen. The first stop of the day was Brownstown Middle School. From there, seniors went to the newly renovated Woodhaven Upper Elementary (previously known as PHMS). Finally, the class split up and went to their elementary schools, which was perhaps the most emotional moment of the day. The seniors used the walk as an opportunity to reconnect with staff and reminisce on their time in the district.
