As June 10th quickly approaches for the Class of 2024, some may be thinking about their outfit for the long-awaited ceremony. Graduation day is a special moment between peers, family, and friends that should be captured in a way where you feel the best, especially after all the hard work you’ve put in for that diploma. Whether you like short, midi, or maxi dresses, these places have various styles that will suit you for this special occasion. What better way than to walk the stage in your best fit as you get ready to turn over the tassel? Be prepared to shop for THE dress at these places which will elicit a showstopping presence at graduation. 

Amazon 

Amazon provides a wide range of options for students to look for the perfect graduation dress. This site may seem overwhelming to some, as Amazon contains countless products. You will find an array of prices on Amazon when it comes to dresses. Try typing in “Graduation dresses” or “Formal dresses for women” if you have a hard time knowing where to look. The best thing to do is to check the reviews and if you have Amazon Prime you might as well order a variety of dresses to try on and you can always return them. Amazon is the place to look if you’re a last-minute shopper and need something quick. Here are a few of my favorites from Amazon.  

Forever 21

Forever 21 is known for being an affordable and trendy clothing brand for a young adult audience. There is a local Forever 21 located at 23000 Eureka Rd. Taylor, MI in the Southland Mall that always has new items to shop. You can stop in there and try on dresses that you’d like to see in person. Forever 21 has many different styles that pertain to many different people. If you’re shopping online, their website is easy to navigate. Under the “dresses” section you will find that Forever 21 provides even more specific categories so that shopping can be made easy for you. They have categories such as “cocktail dresses,” and “white dresses” which helps those who already have a vision for what they are looking for. Here are a few of my favorite graduation-type dresses from Forever 21.

Lulus 

Lulus is a clothing website that is more on the pricier side and contains higher-end-looking apparel. If you’re going for a classy look on graduation day, this is the place to look. The price typically ranges between $40-$70 on dresses. This website, like Forever 21, is easy to navigate with specific dress categories as well. They even have a “graduation dress” section. Altar’d State

Altar’’d State is a Christian-based clothing store. Their apparel is more on the pricey side. Unlike Forever 21, Altar’d State has a specific style of clothing. Shopping online or in person you will find that a lot of their clothing has flower prints and feminine colors. You can shop online or in-store; the nearest Altar’d State is located at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor. This store has excellent employees who will make you feel welcomed and cared for as a customer. They have a wide range of dresses that would pair well with graduation. View some of my favorites in the picture provided. 

No matter where you shop for your graduation outfit, it’s important that you feel confident and comfortable on your big day; it’s all about you and your accomplishment. The best way to end your high school career is by creating memories in style.
