On Saturday, April 25th, the Woodhaven Theater Company hosted an opportunity for elementary-aged students to engage in theatrical workshops. There were 53 students signed up from kindergarten to fourth grade. Students participated in 6 different workshops, including dance, stage combat, costumes / make-up, lighting, set, and sound / acting. At the end of the event, the students performed the dance they had learned for their parents, along with the cast of Mamma Mia performing Dancing Queen/Waterloo bows, and finished out with a group picture. This event is open to students from all elementary schools and encourages them to learn and engage in a little bit of what happens in the theater. We hope to see your siblings or children next year!
