After speaking with several senior students to hear their thoughts on both the song selection itself and their feelings about the voting process that determined it, their perspectives reveal a mix of excitement, disagreements, and reflections.
Jaiden Docherty states, “The song was not good enough for senior year. They could have had more options for songs in general”.Brooke Hill said, “No, the voting process was not fair. I don’t have a problem with the song, but it’s too slow”.Evelyn Hard: “I voted for Vienna because I like that song, but I feel like a different song would be a better option because it was more sentimental. Gabby: “I don’t think it was bad, but there were better options, and the voting process was fair because everyone got a chance to vote.Damien Dixon: “I like the song, but I don’t think it’s a good senior song just because I think it only fits one category, but I do think the voting was fair.”
