Spring is here, bringing along the softball and baseball seasons. The Woodhaven baseball team is ranked 53rd in the Michigan Division 1. The softball team is on a hot winning streak as of right now with their third win of the season. They have a record of 3-4 overall and 2-2 league play making them 4th in the downriver league, That is according to the woodhaven softball facebook page.
The varsity baseball team consist of the following woodhaven students, James Armold, Brody Bray, Nathan Dixon, Brayden Dudek, Lucas Farner, Aidan Gray, Amauri Gutierrez, Brayden Hawk, Drew Migiaccio, Kaden Newsted, Landon Noe, Dante Perry, Joshua Sanchez, Preston Scheffler, Aaron Scott, Jaxon Shufeldt, Tristan Spencer, Cameron Thorning.
The Coach of the team is Corey Farner, he has been coaching at Woodhaven for 2 years now and rightfully so due to the teams doing good all the years he has been the head coach.
The scheduled record is 2-0 for the games the boys varsity team have won so far this season. With many more in their future. The team has played more than 2 games since their first game versus Canton on 3/19/26 but the record on the Woodhaven web page only has the 2 recorded to the site.
The website has all of their upcoming games listed and who they will verse. Tickets for the game usually only cost about $5.
The softball team has the same listing as the baseball team, about who they go against in the up and coming weeks. The tickets are also $5.
The softball team does not have all of their team listed on their facebook but the Woodhaven website has all the girls names and first initial of their last name followed by their jersey number.
