Woodhaven High School’s Varsity Hockey team finished their season with a record of 7-22, facing a lot of tough opponents and close losses. In spite of the challenges, players stayed calm and committed to the team, while making adjustments to their skills and playmaking throughout the year.
Senior Brayden Dudek stated, “Even though we didn’t have the best record, the boys still showed up every day and gave 100% for the guy next to them.” While the scoreboard didn’t display their effort, the team’s resilience and commitment showed true heart during a difficult season. With all the games played and the experiences from this year, it gives the team an idea of how to start next year with a bang.
